PhD student-scholarship position in an Opus 25 project of prof. Piotr Jasiński

[PL] Oferta stypendialna na stanowisko doktoranta w projekcie Opus 25 nr. 2023/49/B/ST8/03265 finansowanego przez Narodowe Centrum Nauki pt. "Alternatywne rozwiązanie dla dodatków stopowych: zaawansowane powłoki ochronne niskokosztowych stali z zastosowaniem w technologii stosów stałotlenkowych ogniw elektrochemicznych".
[EN] PhD student-scholarship position in an Opus 25 project nr. 2023/49/B/ST8/03265 funded by National Science Centre entitled "Alternative to alloying: advanced protective coatings for low-cost alloys for solid oxide cell stack technology".

Requirements:

  • Education: higher (MSc, MSc. Eng.) in a field of materials engineering, chemistry, electronics, or other related.
  • Professional experience: participation in a scientific project, attendances in scientific conferences for students, co-author in conference/journal publications.
  • The minimum required knowledge and experience: basic knowledge in materials engineering, laboratory skills, good organization.
  • English language skills at an advanced level – reading and active writing skills.
  • PhD student status (enrolled at Doctoral School).

Tasks:

  • Preparation of materials: synthesis and basic characterization
  • Electrochemical characterization of fuel/electrolysis cells – evaluation of Cr-exposure effects
  • Preparation of scientific manuscripts for publication.
  • Presentation of results at scientific conferences.

  • Certificate of participation in Doctoral School.

Type of NCN competition: NCN Opus, edition 49
Deadline for applications: 24.01.2025 – 12:00, the results will be announced on 28.01.2025. The earliest start date is 01.02.2025.
Conditions of employment: scholarship 2000 PLN/month – 30 months contract.
